Select here for: November marks the 60th anniversary of Kristalnacht, the beginning of Nazi Germany’s persecution of the Jews. Fewer and fewer of those who survived the genocide are still alive to bear witness but a new interactive CD-ROM, created by Steven Spielberg’s Shoah Foundation, has preserved the testimony of some survivors forever. Spielberg and a group of Holocaust survivors demonstrated the CD-ROM at a New York City high school on Tuesday. The filmmaker says the new disk is aimed specifically at teaching school children the history of the Holocaust.
