The Irish people have known War, Victory and Defeat. The potato famine of the 19th century brought many of them to America's shore.

Many of the American presidents' have an Irish heritage. My ancestors' came from the British Isles -- England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. They arrived in South Carolina then moved to Georgia. After the Civil War of 1865 they moved to Louisiana.
