Within these few pages, we have attempted to capture a little of the magic of the midsummer arts feast: features include an essay on the photography of Gunnie Moberg (whose exhibition at the Pier Arts centre promises to be truly outstanding), an article on the eighteenth century composer John Hebden, a tyically bittersweet short story by this year's poet Iain Crichton Smith, as well as stimulating pieces on art and drama, and poems by both residents and visitors.

The Northern Ireland Branch is the largest branch of the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association with a membership of over ninety bands. These bands are divided musically across the RSPBA grading spectrum with six of them being in the top grade, (Grade 1), and several world class competition bands in all other grades. Drum Majors also range from small novice grade (under 11 Years), to world championship standard seniors.

Dundonald International Ice Bowl is one of the top leisure attractions in the British Isles and amongst the top in Europe. Owned by Castlereagh Borough Council and opened in 1986 it remains the premier entertainment complex in Northern Ireland, having been visited by nearly six million customers to date.
