Welcome to my "Outside Hobbies and Interests"

A bad day crawfishing is better then a good day at work...

Thank you for visiting. Hopefully you enjoy Southern hospitality. In our culture, music is a powerful way to touch people on an intellectual, emotional and spiritual level. Because of this -- I have made a commitment to selecting contemporary music.

My outside hobbies are;

1. Playing tennis on the LSU courts from dusk until midnight during the torrid heat of a summer night under the full moon.

2. Hunting coons in the Atchafalaya swamp from dusk until midnight under a black moonless night sky.

3. Running catfish lines in the Atchafalaya river and surrounding Bayous' at dusk and dawn - anticipating the hot fried fillets rolled in cornmeal.

4. Running through woods at the edge of soybean fields with my Beagle dogs in hot pursuit of huge swamp rabbits hoping for a clean shot from my 12 gauge.

5. Relaxing on a cool crisp Winter morning in a deer stand - waiting for the huge buck deer to step into a small clearing as I raise my 30-06 rifle with pounding heart.

Traveling to New Orleans on an early Saturday morning to ride the Streetcars on St. Charles street while viewing the old stately Mansions of a bygone era. http://www.neworleans.com/foodfest/sponsor/history.html

Riding to Biloxi, Mississippi to walk on the cool white sand at the edge of the Gulf of Mexico and inhale the cool clear smell of endless rolling waves.

Ride into the rolling hills North of Baton Rouge to Clinton, Louisiana watching the Southern Belles traipsing in and out of the door chambers of the oldest working Courthouse in the US which stands so magnificent under sweet smelling Magnolia trees.

Tall Deer Tales are very common here in the Atchafalaya Swamp. But the story you will hear from me is true...mostly.
