Louisiana Acadian "Cajun" Opelousas Jalapeno Corn Casserole

    
2 cans cream style corn
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1 stick margarine
2 cloves garlic minced, or garlic salt or powder
1 onion chopped fine
2-4 jalapeno peppers, chopped fine

Mix all ingredients in a casserole dish and cook at 350 degrees until

set and slightly browned on top, approximately 30 to 45 minutes
