NIDDK at the NIH

Site for several documents on diabetes at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disease (NIDDK) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. Here is information on how to join research programs on type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Its documents include the Diabetes Control and Complications Trial (DCCT), the NIDDK's landmark clinical study carried out between 1983 to 1993.
